Mayor: Denny Thomas

Mayor Thomas can be reached by calling the Sayre Borough Office. (570) 888-7739. Mayor Thomas has been a lifelong resident of Sayre Borough and resides in Sayre with his wife of 35 years, Lura Husick Thomas, and their daughter Kelly Ann Thomas.

As a graduate of Sayre High School, Denny is also a graduate from Husson Valley Community College and The Simmons School of Mortuary Science in Syracuse, NY. He is currently employed in the marketing department at State Line Auto Auction in Waverly, NY.

Mayor Thomas is a Trustee of Guthrie Healthcare systems and the Greater Valley EMS. He serves as a board member of the UDAG Loan Committee and is a member of the Healthcare Facilities Authority of Sayre.

Denny served for twelve years as your Borough Councilman and has been the Mayor of Sayre since 2005.
